Smart Driver Awards were presented to shortlisted Truck Drivers across the country for following safe driving practices and creating an awareness about driving safety amongst others in their community. The initiative is aimed to honour the truck drivers who form the backbone of India’s transport sector, moving people and goods across the nation daily. Though Logistics sector is the backbone of the Indian economy, and drivers play a pivotal role in shaping this industry, the society often fails to recognize and celebrate the hard work and contribution of the drivers towards the growth of the logistics sector in India and their role in nation-building.
Through this award function, we’re ensuring that their journey is acknowledged, celebrated, and supported. This initiative not only serves the motive of motivating other drivers to drive safely but also instills a sense of pride and self confidence in them as well as their family members.

This 78th Independence Day, all our colleagues in different branches gathered to celebrate the spirit of freedom and unity.
We added a touch of patriotism to our workspace by decking it out in our national colours – saffron, white and green. Each corner of our workplace reflected the values of courage, unity, and progress that our country stands for. Balloons and flags in tricolour gave a festive air to the workplace. The team came dressed in ethnic Indian wear to create a visual spectacle that radiates our love for India.
We believe celebrating Independence Day is not just a symbolic gesture. It’s an opportunity to gather as a diverse yet unified team. When we organize and participate in celebrations like these, we strengthen our bond as a team and enthuse towards our common goal connected by shared values, history, and aspirations.

From the Founder’s Desk…
DRIVERS’ DAY, 2023
On 17th September 2023, Port Translogistics Pvt. Ltd. celebrated the Drivers’ Day at Bhubaneswar and Gopalpur Port Ltd. with its integral and associated drivers and team.
Truck Drivers are the backbone of Logistics and Supply Chain and are one of the most critical resources. Without them, the country’s economy would come to a standstill. The truck drivers are instrumental in the nation’s growth, but they are never treated with the respect they deserve. In our country, Truck Drivers face numerous challenges including sleepless nights, long absences from homes, poor health, accidents, robbery activities and extreme weather conditions. Being semi-educated and mostly from poor economical background, the Truck Drivers often face on-ground problems with transport authorities and unions during transit. Unfortunately, even the common citizen of India treats a truck driver with contempt or with no respect. Despite all these impediments, the truck drivers deserve dignity for braving all odds and delivering cargo on time, thus ensuring smooth conduct of businesses operations across all sectors.
We, at Port Translogistics Pvt. Ltd., value our drivers for their dedicated support in driving our company towards delivery excellence. We celebrate Drivers’ Day every year with our truck drivers to enhance their morale by recognizing and honouring their invaluable contributions to the company’s business with small tokens of appreciation. This year, Sweets and T-shirts were distributed to all our truck drivers to honor them.

Port Translogistics Pvt. Ltd. is Odisha’s leading logistics service provider in the field of Port Operations, Handling and Mining related transportation.
